I have enjoyed this series. It has quite the cast of characters, I'd guess 10-20 people not wearing red shirts. Some interesting depth on some who we had met only cursorily before.
The 1st 2/3 of the book is setup, an alliance forms to combat the incursion of extra-dimensional spiders, worse than Cthulhu. There is some side human interest with the Donnie entitled princess teenage character & her prince/heir soon-to-be boyfriend. Then, all at once, lots & lots of fighting.
I thought this would be it, but then, "TO BE CONTINUED". Oh well. A little long, but still a good read.
