I enjoyed the 1st book of this series, "Dead Country", blogged here. This one has maybe more action; more interesting characters, old & new. Also, seemed like it was running more narrative threads? Hmmm, this 1 is quite a bit (75%) longer, so I guess that makes sense.

A complex page turner. Book 3 is already on my iPad.
