Our 1 Very Good Idea comes from Cory Doctorow. It is for Canada to repeal its version of the DCMA anti-circumvention clause, section 1201. Canadian Bill C-11, the Copyright Modernization Act, bans Canadian companies from modifying America's digital tech exports.

Canada then becomes the device jail-breaking capital of the world.
