I enjoyed the 1st book of this series - hmmm, November, 2021, I would not have thought it was 5 years ago. It presents as a fantasy but turns out to be science fiction.
This installment has lots of the characters from the 1st story plus, of course, some new ones. There's a fair amount going on in what is a fairly short read. There's a kinda "deus-ex-machina" thing that I found a little annoying. But, that's old school sci-fi.
Still, a quick & enjoyable read.
